School Meals
Lunchtime
All age groups eat together in the school hall. This is important to us as we enjoy the social aspect of eating together. We have a number of staff on hand to help and encourage children whilst eating.
All children in the Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 classes are entitled to Universal Free School Meals.
However, if you have a child in Reception, Year 1 or Year 2 it is important that you apply for Free School Meals if you are eligible. School government funding for 6 years is linked to the number of children eligible for Free School Meals.

School meals
We are fortunate to have all of our food cooked freshly at the Junior School site in a purpose built kitchen. The Federation have now taken ownership of the kitchen and all menus and the cooking of the meals is 'in-house'. They prepare balanced nutritious meals each day on a three week menu cycle. A vegetarian option is always offered.
Packed Lunches
We believe it is very important for children to eat a sensible and balanced diet so that they have plenty of energy to enjoy the school day. If you are providing your child with a packed lunch please try and make them healthy and avoid processed food such as chocolate, biscuits, crisps and sweets.
